Could You Be Eligible for Financial Aid for the Medical Billing and Coding Program

Each student's needs vary. In order to qualify for different types of financial aid, you will need to meet the following conditions.

You may have to:

  • Demonstrate financial need.
  • Have earned either a high school diploma or GED (or an acceptable equivalent).
  • Have a valid Social Security number.
  • Be a U.S. citizen (or an eligible non-citizen).
  • Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA):
  • The U.S. Department of Education uses the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, known as the FAFSA, to determine the types of aid for which you are eligible.
  • The FAFSA is completed online. However, if you need assistance completing the application an LBCI Financial Aid advisor is only a call away if you need help at any point.

You can also visit www.studentaid.ed.gov or call 1-800-433-3423 to get information directly from the Federal Student Aid Center.

Step 3: Please enter the following school codes on the FAFSA. You can enter these codes on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to indicate which postsecondary schools they want to receive their financial application results. Click here to access The Learning Bridge Career Institute school code and FAFSA codes.
